FULL CLOSURE TO THROUGH TRAFFIC OF NORTH AVENUE FROM THE CN RAILROAD TO DEEP LAKE ROAD WILL
BEGIN APRIL 1, 2010.

Reopening is currently scheduled for October 15, 2010. Every effort will be made to keep you
informed of progress on this project through the Antioch municipal newsletter, the Lake County Division of Transportation road construction information web site www.lakegov.info/roadwork and Lake County PASSAGE real time traffic www.lakecountypassage.com.

  
   

The North Avenue reconstruction project begins approximately 465 ft. east of IL Route 83 and extends easterly to Deep Lake Road.

This project involves the complete rebuilding of the North Avenue road surface as well as new curb and gutter, storm sewer, drainage structures, culverts and landscaping.

A full closure for North Avenue will begin April 1, 2010. The road will be closed to through traffic, however, local traffic will have access throughout the closure period.
